I'm excited for this trip! I will be there on Thursday. Someone mentioned meal planning/sharing...are we doing that? Are we going to bunk up ahead of time or just grab whatever room is available when we arrive? Eric, what do we owe you per person (I assume you'd like reimbursement sooner than later

. I'd like to do an ops check on my radio at the club meeting next week...a couple of you guys want to bring your radios so I can test my transmit/receive capability?
Ahmad, your presence will be missed.
Updated list as of 8-3-25: 11 people confirmed + 1 tentative.
@CrabCake (1 room)
@An3 (1 room)
@afgman786 (and spouse) (1 room)
@Sargy (and spouse) (1 room)
We still have
6 bedrooms /
6 bathrooms to share:
@MilkEel
@imperium
@JakeisbadatThis
@kouki
@Mojo Jojo
@DC470
@TRDdrew
@kevin in okinawa
@1MOA (tentative)
I plan on being there on Thursday afternoon, hopefully by 4:00 or so, depending on what
@An3 can pull off since we'll be caravanning down. They are pretty casual there on check-in, so I can call and let them know if someone else plans to be earlier to get the keys. I paid the deposit and my cc number is on file, so it shouldn't be a problem for an earlier arrival (I'll ask about check in time too).
For $$...I'm fine with either a per-room or per-person arrangement. I'm not worried about nickels and dimes here, so whatever you guys come up with is fine with me. We may have a couch/floor sleeper or two, so maybe a pro-rate for those that is cheaper? We can wait to see who actually shows up before we come up with a plan...and maybe figure it out before the evening beverages start to flow!
Food wise, I'm good with making a plan ahead...I'll start with some offerings (that my wife agreed to help with!), feel free to add to the list if you have a favorite that you'd like to share:
Dinner: Baked ziti casserole with ground beef & veggies (veggie only option by request, let me know!), Caesar salad
Breakfast: Quiche wedges (Lorraine w/bacon and a veggie option), apple cake (for those that know...

)
Beverage: Homemade traditional Margarita on the rocks...I have a simple but killer recipe and I get fresh lime juice by the quart at work which is key! That and some decent tequila, upscale triple sec, and agave nectar...delicious, but dangerous!
Looking forward to a great trip with the group!
