***August Meeting***

Oh, Crap! We play the Spud's stage on Sept 5th. We play a different bar on the 29th. Sorry. I got ahead of myself on my schedule!
But the place we are playing the 29th is a biker bar less than a mile down the road. Not a very family-friendly place, but still free.

We can do either weekend but I recommend we keep the meeting for between Noon and 2pm for those that are driving up from Beaufort or Charleston area.

If everyone is going to be available for Labor Day Weekend meeting then we can change it....but I know people usually have cookouts, boating, camping, etc on that Saturday.

Unless I get overwhelming approval to move meeting to 30th, I recommend keeping it on 23 August due to the holiday weekend being on 30th.

Name of the place might want to drop by! After the meeting! As I am sure I will ride my bike (it's hard to drive a 60 without wheels)

Meeting will stay as originally designated unless we change location to a different establishment. Waiting on address, GPS Coordinates, etc to make sure everyone can find it.

until then our meeting place is:

Hooters in Murrels Inlet at 1200 noon on 23 August 2008. If we end up changing location we can wheel over together enmasse with a local leading the way...or stay there and eat and talk business.

1. Increasing membership
2. Business cards and stickers to new attendees
3. Lowcountry Boil at Hunting Island (Volunteers, attendees, etc)
4. TShirts for Hunting Island (artwork, graphic separation by guy with Resto FJ40, color, number)
5. Get ready to nominate new officers in September for Upstate as well as Lowcountry
6. Trail Rides
7. Status on contact with local dealerships in Charleston
8. HAMOM in SEPTEMBER????
9. Pick an Upstate Cruiser event for us to attend annually as group
10.New Business

everything I have seen only has it as TS and tracking up middle of state with lots of rain.

i agree...if nobody from myrtle beach is going to make the meeting then no use in driving up that way. If we do not have more participation noted by FRIDAY we can change location back to Charleston area...

Well my brother can't come. He is commited elsewhere already. I don't want to be obligated to have to show up since you guys are coming up from Charleston. If you can't change the date to accomadate us dirty Myrtle boys, then just keep it in Charleston.
