if its in charleston is it gona be for Lunch or Dinner? sat or Sun?
Can we do some wheeling?
 
It's not that I am busy, i just don't like to obligate myself on the only days that I see my family. If you have it in Myrtle, and I can make it I will be there. I just didn't want people to drive up for no reason.

that is understood belmont...not a problem. it looks like it will be getting changed to charleston but will make final call on Friday morning based on responses if that is okay and I will change info here and on our single web page.....

may turn into a tropical storm fiesta...LOL
 
Fay will be gone by then and is not expected to do much. (last I heard)

I work until 4 on Saturday, but can meet anytime after that.
 
so we have one MB member that can be there....what is the consensus of club since all the MB contingent except Greenseaman are unavailable....

Green...would you mind meeting in MtP again this month until we can get more members up your way at a meeting...since we have four or five available from charleston? I want to be fair but also realistic....too bad that little place is not open in jamestown still...we could meet there...it was like a Huddle House I think.

I am almost thinking we should do it in Mt Pleasant/Awendaw/McClellenville area this month and pick a month in future to do in Myrtle when we can get at least as many of our members up there to participate. I have Greg Frenchs schedule....so we can make sure he is at home and not in charleston.

what say ye? Green? I give you first dibs....can contact me on PM if you like to give your honest preference since you are available Saturday...based on your comments Iwill make the decision NLT Friday morning on location so everyone can be notified. I dont mind driving to Myrtle as I will go to Bass Pro while up there....lol....but it is a lot of gas...Green drove down our way once already....but we also have to look at good for the group as I would like toget enough members to do a meeting in Beaufort/PI area as well if Maglight gets them hooked up down there...

thanks everyone for their flexibility and help as we get this group going.....going to be slow and rough sometimes but it will work if we keep plodding along. thanks again for all of your support and ideas...
 
We do need as many members as we can, we have a crab boil to plan.
Also would like to make a year plan (flexible, of course),so it can get on calendars early and members can plan ahead. I think it would help participation greatly.

I would also like to get a list of LLC members planning to go

I agree....let me know by PM or cell David what you decide and I will make it happen. I will bring list of dates GregFrench gave me to his military duty in Charleston on weekends as well.

I don't give a hoot where just need to know. Planning on working on the BT Today and Friday and Possibly Sat morning in Sumter. No Cell phone, no computer etc. So when I leave today was setting the plan and now will have to go back home to Charleston to check computer to see if and where we are meeting. When you finally make up our collective minds PM me or voice message the phone I can get some reception in sumter. LOL Doc

P.S. if you want to turn a wrench or sand off filler come on up Ron you have my cell # you can try a vociemail I might get it when I run in for supplies.

We will be discussing upcoming elections and most importantly the Lowcountry LandCruisers Boil down in Hunting Island 3-5 October...as there is alot of work to be done.

Come one, come all and bring a Cruiser friend or potential friend...Also, if you have any specific dates you WILL NOT be available for meetings please be prepared to let David and I know as we are going to try and work out meeting dates for at least 6 months out to give everyone an opportunity to plan. I have Greg Frenches if he cant make it from the base in time.....

See you there....also will be planning a HAMOM with the FJ55 of Stu's in West Ashley soon.

Don't bother family problem kept me in charleston so I found the new site will see whoever Saturday at 5 ish.
 
We had a very prouctive meeting today. Got some duties assigned for the crab boil; set up a calendar for the next nine months; had a raffle; and ate some good BBQ.

Could have walked the rest

:mad::mad::mad:If it had not been abandonment of my ride I could have walked the last mile. Damn such is life: my luck lately has been in the out house for sure. Karma for my sedate and pious life style I guess.:rolleyes: Any way I want a couple of the tan stickers LC somebody grab and hold for me. Thanks
