Audiophiles.... need input... added the kenwoods..but..

Ok.. the kenwood speakers that fit just right have been added but I need to trace one side to figure out where is the cut in the cable....

?... Should I upgrade the factory speaker wire? What size, type is recommended? Monster...? If is gots to upgrade I want to run it through the stock routes... and not mess up the interior.....LOL

I don't see why you'd need larger diameter speaker wire, unless you've got some massively high impedance speakers, since the run length isn't changing.

ditto on what he said. Do you have a open circuit on a speaker wire? Why not repair it?

I just installed some 6" Kenwood speakers in the doors. The left speaker makes a little heat compared to the right. Both speakers ohm out at 4.1 ohms. Think I' have a problem?

you know what? I will... My cousin recommended fixing. One thing I will do is try the speakers with a bigger cable, also with and aftermarket stereo... Just to see if there is a difference. I know after market sounds better than the OEM radio unit....
