Are you level or stinky?

Mine is at 21.5" up front, just about level, and has terrible handling. I'm going lower it this weekend to see if that helps.

21.5 isn't that bad. When did you last get an alignment? I think i may be around there but a little higher than that. Stupid me, i forget the number i measured yesterday, but i had my duratracs put on yesterday, got it aligned and took almost a 200 mile trip yesterday. all good, no shakes, and it feels great. I am stinkified though. hate the look but it's what works.

I had an alignment in the Fall. I'm going to try dropping down the front a 1/2" or so and see if that improves things. Right now it feels like the Cruiser is floating all over the road.

Stinky. Until I hook up the trailer, then level.

OK, so this has been bugging me for some time, but have any of you really looked at a stink bug lately? Since we have been infested with them for a couple years now, I have become very familiar.

They sit lower in the rear than in the front!

For my truck - I leveled it and liked it better, but have not had any luck with alignment since, and it is now drooping back to normal. But not stink bug!

1" rake form me, 21.5 center of hub to lip with spacers in the rear unloaded. My rear springs are 12 years old and need to be replaced...

Exceleent work Edmund!

Look up a pic for a stink beetle, which is commonly called a stinkbug...

21.5 in the front and 22.5 in the back for me (center of hub to fender).

I always wondered that too....figured maybe they have different stink bugs in different parts of the world. I prefer to call it the TQM Squat....higher in rear than front. ;)

I'm doing an opposite stinky right now. I'm at 22" center of hub to fender in the front and 21" in the rear. I need to drop those t bars down a bit

Driver front 20 1/8 rear 21 3/4 (-1.625)
Passenger front 20 3/8 rear 22 3/8 (-2)

Maybe I have too much stink going on here?

Problem is I think I have to reindex just to gain another 1"...

"Mad Stinky"

Digging up a dead thread here ...

I installed my Slee Heavy lift this weekend and finished up the torsion bar adjustments last night. To quote an earlier poster, I am "mad stinky" with 2.5" of rake. I am sitting at 20.5" front on both sides and 23" rear.

Guess I now have an excuse for the carriers for my Slee rear :D

I have not driven much on it ... gotta get tires and an alignment ... but the potholes in my subdivision seem to have disappeared. This is a good thing cause they just about kill me on my bikes.
