BUMP!!
So I've encountered the same issue as @Dissent did: Running headlights, AUX fan, Fridge, A/C on full blast (plus a bunch of small things like stereo, dash cam, GPS) in the nearly year-round Florida heat and my less than a year old Denso direct fit alternator and less than year old Duracell battery are struggling at idle. If at all possible, I would much rather avoid replacing the fairly new alternator... has anyone ran a smaller pulley on the stock unit and if so was there a significant improvement at idle? I recently saw that @NLXTACY is making some custom pulleys (not sure if they can be used on a stock alt nor if he'll sell them separate from the kit). Are there other solutions since this thread was started 5 years ago?
