Are all 80 series outside door handles the same? (1 Viewer)

I wound up with the lever in my hand when attempting to get into my '96 this morning. All the take offs im finding are from earlier year 80's... will FJ80 or early FZJ80 door handles fit a 96?

haha, same thing happened to me, was it COLD as s*** out where you are this morning?

Im not 100% sure but i think they are interchangeable with fj and fzj

negative... it doesn't get COLD down here. It cracked a couple of years ago and I've been babying since then... finally gave up the ghost today.

Well, I have a red one from a passengers side if you need it. I think they are mostly the same except for the color coded, which mine is red from the passenger's front side.

I appreciate the offer, but i need the drivers side which appears to be a lot more scarce on the used parts market...
