D light is out, no wonder it was junked. ;)

Someone must have gotten a seriously good insurance payout to let go of that truck, even with the high mileage.

I'm not really sure how much front end damage there is from the pics... Personally, I'd want to look it over in person to make sure the frame isn't damaged, or the radiator wasn't taken out (radiator is relatively cheap, but the possibility of subsequent engine damage would be a concern). Still, I wouldn't be scared of it for the right price.

It's super easy to go Copart sites to inspect vehicles. Better know what you are looking at because you can't move them or take them offsite to have a pro look at them. The ones that are actually repairable expect a good bidding war.

I bought mine from CoPart at a Denver auction. I had a friend that lived in the area stop by to inspect it and it was a run/drive vehicle but with a blown head gasket. I could tell from the pics that it was milkshake coolant, and it ran on 4 (or so) cylinders. After purchase the transporter I arranged to pick it up and deliver it to So-Cal found that it was completely dead, and he had to get someone to help load it and he wasn't very happy about that! I found later that someone had disconnected the fusible link so that it wouldn't crank, probably trying to get the price down, but I still won it at $3500. At the time (2015) it was a totally stock truck with a blown head gasket and 220K miles.

The gap in the driver side rear door makes me wonder if the frame isn't tweaked. Maybe the door just isn't closed.

bumper is pushed into the driver fender, so may have front frame damage. Fender is also contacting hood. Radiator core support maybe bent. At first glance the damage is mostly on the right side, but the bumper is bent back toward the left side more. So...2 fenders, bumper for sure. The ARB does have a crumple zone in it so it may have done its job and the frame may be ok. Minor right firewall inner fender damage. Single stage white paint is easy to match. I recommend you use a broker to buy, like autobidmaster. Because the copart member fees are high and they are assholes to deal with when something goes wrong and it does often there. No notes on title status, so that could be a deal breaker. It is a upcoming lot, so it could take a 6 months for it to go to auction. I will also note, deals at copart have been rare in the last few years. You might do better on craigslist honesty.
