Are aftermarket pad and rotors (DBA) just a quite as stock?

IMHO oem pads.
 
If they're made of the same materials.

OEM pads and DBA rotors are great; one of the best upgrades to the 80...
 
Aftermarket pads aren't worth saving money on, use OEM.
 
I am running DBA rotors (club spec 4000 slotted) with OEM pads on a 1999 100 series and I havent noticed any noise. Even with larger tires (315's), they work very well.

I like GOOD aftermarket pads better too. And yes they can cost MORE not less. Most OEM are a cost driven compromise.
 
stock on my 100's but I have DBA sloted rotors and Metal Master pads on my 60 and 80, no noise at all, just nice(better) braking
 
don't know about rotors, but Wagner Thermo Quiet pads have worked wonderfully on my 99!
