Back in about 1992 I started buying bumpers and brushguards from @lcwizard when he was still calling the shop Renegade Fabrication. During one of his visits he started telling me about a group of people that were dedicated to hardcore rockcrawling on closed, technical courses, and that he was building ’special’ trucks to compete in these events.
As I am finally digging into the the monumental task of sorting through my 37 year accumulation of Landcruiser stuff, I found an envelope of pictures Dave sent me in 1994. I think it’s a cool time capsule to have found, almost 30 years later. Without further adieu

My first shackle reversal, 1988. I was involved with SCORE and HDRA at the time, hence the build. That truck was fun. I could swap ends on pavement without rolling
and cruise across the desert three times faster than a stock 40.

Brat seats. Good for kids, not for people.

I think of Dave as one of the progenitors of KOH.😊

Seeing these pics reminded me of this vid…. Watched it countless times back in the day-
