Did you get one also from @socallove ?
I'm putting it in the pass. rear quarter panel.
Anyone fit a CKMTA12 ARB air compressor?
Something like this, but I'm going to use some electrical strut.

just what I was looking for are you planning on running from 4 gauge wire back to the compressor . that's what I was planning to do but also put a 6 gallon tank underneath where the spare tire goes so I could have plenty of volume when running air tools out on the trail.

I actually have a set of #4 jumper cable that I will use. I plan on running a frig later.

As for a 6 gal. tank, it might be to big. You have to think about recovery times. 2 gal is the biggest I would do.

Any of you using the compressor for your lockers? If you are, how loud is it in your cab when the compressor cycles on?

Not as bad as you think...
It sounds like a muffled humm.

What is the bracket made out of? Is this something you could make with a drill and a jig saw? Been trying to figure out how to get a compressor into my truck. This seems perfect! I'd be stoked not to have to blow up my (kitesurfing) kites anymore

I know I know. I'm almost there. Let me finish the OBA tank bracket and I'll finish the cargo panel :flipoff2:
Good, take your time no rush...

But make it fast already.

Are you done yet?

is a mount available for the arb twin compressor to install in a fj80?

thanks - much appreciated.

i noticed the mount is for the interior - in the rear hatch area. are you aware of any mount that would allow in the front engine area of the fj80? i know many jeeps and tacomas have mounts in the engine bay.

i'm quickly becoming your new biggest fan :) you have saved me hours of research time - many thanks for your insight

keep in mind that ARB has had to warranty a lot of the twins due to overheating after being under the hood.
