I had an ARB installed in my front diff. I hooked the airline to the axle and routed it to where I will install the air compressor. I installed the fitting on the end of the airline, but have not installed it into the solenoid valve.

There is a little bit of gear oil weeping out of the end of the fitting after it’s been driven.
Is that normal or does it mean the seals in my ARB are bad already?

Is there a breather tube/vent on the front axle? If so, where?

Try searching, this topic has been discussed in Depth on a couple threads regarding oil coming up the breathers, static pressure venting etc.

Yep, buddy had this happen today on his newly twin ARB locked RAM 3500, gear oil all over the place inside of the flatbed cubby where he mounted the compressor, sucks.

I had this. It was not an install or breather issue, finally confirmed by ARB. Trying to track down the issue wasted a ton of time and money until I finally took the third to ARB. Lots of people obviously have good experiences with these but I won't run another Air Locker after that dumpster fire.

I've heard that the seals leak and that's what causes this, not sure if that's true in all instances but there may be some merit to it.

I think Brad ( @trdburgler ) figured out that it was simply from over-filling the gear oil. Pretty sure he solved his bout with this same issue.

Wasn't it posted on one of the threads here that the factory diff breathers take more pressure to release and allow air flow that the pressure it takes to go up the ARB lines or something along those lines?

Might be in the thread posted above.

Yes, Rob mentioned it in the linked thread. He also added an ARB purge valve as a part of his approach.
