Oh, so wrong. The blondes can take half your rig!!

The lights are not safe mounted anywhere, even in the concrete jungle.

@jtwopark Which IPF lights are those? Are you happy with them? I like the rectangle ones better than round.

going back to the subject, I have not damaged them to the point that the lights do not work. I have done some trails where i have bumped into things with the bumper. If people say that they are going to get damaged, I really don't know what to tell you. Having lights in the specific location is really useful. That is all I have to say.

for example, when i drive in really bad weather(full of pedestrians coming out of a parking structure), I turn the lights on and people can see me coming out of alleys or even those people on the freeway that do not look to see what is right next to them. They are a good safety feature.

the IPFs are the 900xs. the light output is amazing. it throws a pencil beam farther than 2 50" light bars. when i have 2 50" lights on, then turn the ipfs on, you are still able to see the beam penetrate the light from the bars.

just make sure you don't stick your pencil in the pencil sharpener! so you know, pencil sharpeners will shorten the life of the pencil quite a bit! At the end, do not let them take half of what you worked for!
Then either you haven't seen the daily rates or you haven't been married to one. The damage can be extensive!!!

The wife cost millions times more than than hourly or daily rated ones.

and you can't fire them! because they WILL take 1/2 your tihs!

I think those would look nice there. I moved the stk ARB light to that location. Was a lot if work but I think worth it in the end.

Wow! That is a super clean install of the stock lights in the side of the ARB. How did you manage to get the radiused inset edge for the cutout? Did you stamp it out? Very Nice!

Cut the metal out including the radius portion. See post #27 in the link below.
