OEM lockers also have a breather tube that can be extended. Transfer case has one too.

Are you saying they have a breather coming off of the servo motor ?

Yup. It is wrapped into the wiring harness, so a little hard to see until you follow the wires down and find the tube splitting off seperately. It is real small. 1/8 inch?

cheers,

I would have never know that was there if you and @inkpot hadn't said something. That's actually not that bad of a location but looks easy enough to bump it up onto the firewall. I have an ARB diff breather sitting on the shelf that needs to be installed before we do the high water mark in June.

What do you guys recommend for breathers ? I was going to mount the ARB deal DS firewall and run the front diff and T case to it. Not sure if I should run a line all the way forward for the rear diff or route it somewhere else. Obviously i'm now thinking about doing the locker breathers as well.

I ran my rear diff and actuator into the rear passenger side quarter panel- it was easy just took some effort and thinking. The arb 8mm line fit perfect, and on the rear I reused the oem breather after a cleaning. I plan on running transfer case, tranny, front diff and actuator, and maybe distributor to the ARB once I can figure out a way to mount it high without any drilling into the body

I usually just slip a couple of feet of hose the next size up onto the existing tube and run it up along the extended diff breather line.
