The wife asked if I wanted her to warm up the 60 for me this morning. I said great, and walked her through the process (pull the choke, start, run for a minute, push in choke). Out she goes, only to return a few minutes later after I hear a loud THUD from the garage. She failed to put in the clutch before attempting to start the truck, sending it ramming into my workbench. There is a big square chunk missing from the top of my bench where the upright on the bullbar hit it. No damage to the bumper or truck.

Wife now hates my truck and wants me to disconnect the dinger that tells that the key is in the ignition. She thinks the ding is the sound of the truck making fun of her.

No!

when my sagnificant other asks that, i tell her NO! lol, -sean

nonsense: teach her to drive and your cruiser budget will fall under much less scrutiny.

teach her to love cruisers and you may get a chance to increase the size of your horde.

ditto, how do you think I got my h-55 paid for?

If my wife didn't love the Toad as much as I do I might not have been able to put over $6K into it this year. Heck, most of the upgrades were her idea.

We would go places and she would say things like "if we lift it and get bigger tires we could go up THAT trail!" It is statements like that which remind me why I married her.

Get her on your side and you budget grows!

I would love to take pics, but we just had to send the digicam in for repairs. Hopefully its back before xmas.

The dent in the bench is priceless, perfectly square, the same size as the upright on the bullbar. I could probably park it in the cut out, just to get a little more room in the garage.

My wife loves the cruiser, hell she wants one her self. I am not going to get her one because she will end up getting all the toys and upgrades to hers and mine will just be what it is now. She loves the fact that it will take us anywhere we need to go and it's paid for. I dont care if my wife drives it, 208k miles and still running strong, she can't hurt it. ITS A CRUISER...
