Holy crap, I just realized (thanks to this thread) that ARB US Headquarters is like 1/4mi from where I work! Wonder if I should hang out there on my lunchbreak cleverly dropping hints....

They have great deals for locals...... on returns and bent and dinged up bumpers plus you don't have the $200 in shipping charges.

Anyone have any feed back on Oconee Off-Road?

I ordered my arb 8/2/10 from them, they said none in stock which i figured. Said wait 2-3 weeks and we will have it. Then I asked again at the 2 week mark. Still no bumper. Another email later they said at the LATEST it would be the 10th of sep. Now its the 13th and still no bumper. Emailed them again and got this: The bumper is in Louisiana. They do not have it on inventory yet. As soon as they do it will ship and I will have tracking for you.

So they will have had my money for 2 months for a item that should have came in around the 16th of august.
ugh.
I bought my ARB winch bumper from them, and it was delivered promptly. That was almost 2 years ago now, so I don't know how much, if any, difference a period of time would make. Mine was a little scuffed up when it arrived, but other than that, I was pretty happy with my experience with Oconee...........

My wait period was nothing like what you've described, so it sounds like they're giving you the run-around!

Thats how I feel:frown:

Another week and no word. I'm starting to get VERY frustrated with them.

If you can score a scratch/dent bumper they will hook you up. Otherwise ARB direct vendors like myself can put anything on will-call @ ARB's warehouse for you locals, that way you don't pay any shipping

got my scratch and dent winch bumper from ARB in Renton WA for $600 out the door, they get them fairly often since the facility houses all the product for north and south america.

I feel like a dumb@$$. This thread started back in 2008 and I just pm'd some guy about sliders he was selling in 2009 :whoops:

Anyway still good info.

Any new word on the cheapest place to find one now days? The price seemed to have gone up the beginning of the year.

I got my winch bumper from IPOR for $917 shipped. Since I was on the east coast the truck freight was considerably less than ordering from Slee or Cruiseroutfitters though I do order stuff from them anyway just not the bumper I got.

I am getting ready to post mine for sale (no dents) in Arizona as soon as I decide on the replacement.

I hate to say it, but does anyone know if 4wheel parts has a 20% off coupon?

I got my winch version from autoanything.com. It was $785 shipped.

the only list the LX450 as the vehicle they sell it for, but the bumper is the same for all years of the 80 series.

It took about 3 weeks to get it - drop shipped from arb usa.

gonna check into that. Thanks

We have an extra ARB bull bar here at the shop we need to blow out, we will sell it for $800 plus shipping to a local truck freight terminal or commercial address that has a loading dock/fork lift.

How long ago did you purchase your bumper? I can't find it on their site. 10% off and free shipping would bring it down quite a bit i would think.

Same here. Looked, but no luck. If you can find a 4WPS 20% off coupon it would be $745 picked up including tax. If it wasn't for shipping costs I would by Slee"s.

I just got mine about a month ago through 4x4 connection they are part of ipor. It was only 754.00 for the winch bumper. Paid no sales tax and no shipping since I picked it up at ARB

I wonder what the jobber price is and shipping from ARB in Washington. Maybe a vender can chime in what a minium for a group buy would be.

I ordered mine (non-winch) from usautoparts online when they were having a black friday special in Nov, got 25% off and shipping was only $15 to my door.
