aqualu fj40 windshield hinge and lock

I bought what appears to be a second generation Aqualu tub (full tub and Aqualu windshield) rig that had a fixed windshield - no hinges. I would like to add hinges to allow it to fold down; however, the aqualu does not have any of the dash items to hold the windshield up when the top is off. (typically you have the hand screw things).

Seems like a destaco pull style latch would work fine for this; however, I was hoping someone could give some guidance.

The icon doesn't appear to have a stopper in there. The OEM setup uses a bolt to hold the windshield upright and the bolt clamps the windshield tight to the spacer & dash bracket. When there is no stopper/spacer, the only thing preventing the WS frame from folding farther back is the squish of the WS cowl weatherstrip.

Good point. Sounds like time to fab up some of those Aqualu brackets unless anyone has a set of these sitting around.
