A good turn out for our first meeting of the year at the Wade household. We discussed future camping trips.

- update the Tshirt inventory.

- bring back to top the thread on various camping locations. Various members suggested their favorite camping venues..

- get rid of our Wells Fargo checking account since it's costing the club $5/month and it doesn't get used. We'll use PayPal for all of our financial needs. If someone needs to write a check for club dues, they can write it to Jon and he can transfer funds into our PP account. All approved.

- Mike will follow through with Fish regarding camping near Salida.

- Fathers day camping at the Jemez with Williams. Tradition.

- Making day runs to Gordy's OHV before it gets too hot.

= A potential camping trip to the Water Canyon CG, west of Socorro and then hit the Mt Baldy trails from there. Lots of trails in that area that we should explore.

- Steve H suggested potential road trip Tonto forest in AZ Another idea was to go check out the Mogollon rim trail in AZ. It's closer and worth checking out per Shawn W.

- Caballo Peak trail wheeling/camping trip on April 26,27,28. The Wade family will temporarily relocate their home (5th wheel camper) to Elephant Butte Lake on Friday and then we'll run the Caballo trail most of Saturday. Head home on Sunday. Other campers will be joining the Wades and they have invited HDC to join up. Lisa Wade mentioned that Rum will be plenty, whereupon my wife decided that she now has to go and partake

Let me know if I missed anything.

Yet another fun-sounding activity that Scouts will be getting in the way with. I hope I have some fun there (District Camporee at Conchas Lake).

Actually the Tonto NF goes up onto the Mogollon Rim, and that's the access I was talking about. It's big - almost twice as big as the entire Santa Fe National Forest and strethces to about 50 miles from Tucson. There is a large diversity of elevation etc. That's about all I know about it though. Maybe someone knows someone in the Copper State Cruisers or Arizona Land Cruiser Assn. - they actually have a list called the Arizona Tonto Recreation Allliance - https://forum.ih8mud.com/az-tral-tonto-recreation-alliance/ but it's private...

Would have liked to have made the meeting, but field work is pretty busy right now. Thanks for posting up the minutes for those of us who couldn't make it.

are we going to take VP volunteers/assignments?
