I think you will have better luck calling him. He did not respond to the texts but answered the phone on the 2nd ring and took care of me right then. I'm inclined to lean towards texts -- but if you want to move the ball forward on your order, a call is probably going to get better results.

I think you said you had the VL35. While the unit is open, I hear a little of the refrigerant bubbling. When it’s closed, all I hear is a low hum of the compressor when on. I slept right next to it for 2 nights a week ago and had no issues. If it’s loud, I would agree it’s faulty, IMO.An update in my situation. Iceco is saying that the loud noise that my unit is making is normal when it's clearly not. I can hear this thing from my bedroom while the unit is in the office. BTW, it took them more than a week to get back to me. At this point I just want to return this malfunctioning unit and get a refund. I think I've been patient enough up to now.
Who did you speak to? It must not have been Lu because i sent you a message a week ago to let you know that he said "We'll do a direct replacement for him". Call/Text until you get him as your case should be top priority for us mudders, and let us know if you have trouble and i'll try checking in for you.I have a JP50. I posted a video of the noise it makes a few pages back. I've seen three reviews, including the hobotech review of the JP40, his and the others don't make the noise that mine makes. I can faintly hear the compressor which of course it's normal but there's a sort of whistling loud noise that seems to be coming from the walls of the fridge. It gets louder when I open the fridge. It's clearly not normal from the reviews I've seen.

But yeah, like i said before that definitely is not normal. I'm very curious as to what is causing it though, and wished you were closer so i can trade you my TR so i can open up the expandable and take a look/trace the noise. Also curious how similar it is inside to the rest of the VLs.
Anyways, keep me posted brother and we will make sure to get you a replacement fridge. I hope you aren't losing any sleep over the noise and sorry again for your experience. My advice to you is don't buy any lottery ticket soon; first the shipping delay and then the whistler... you caught 2 short ends of the stick in a row there. Or maybe do buy a lottery ticket, because third time is the charm?

Right, which is why i asked who you spoke to. It does not sound like Lu, and that's who you need to speak to so you don't have to go in circles about whether or not it is normal with another rep. So you are having trouble getting ahold of him? Are you calling or emailing? It sounds like you are emailing so i assume official@icecofreezer.com?He said this last week though.
