What temperature do you set your fridge at?

  • 0°F - I like using it for Meats, Ice Cream and other Frozen Foods!

Well, I made the plunge last night at crunch time. Me and a buddy both snabbed VL60 dual with cover. Pretty stoked to try it out as I’m tired of coolers. Thanks for organizing this @Dangcat

Dont worry swank, you didn’t miss anything if the VL65 is your target. They are out of stock and when they come in with next container, they will do a separate code, or the same code but only have it apply to the out of stock models/models where discount didn’t work during this group buy (VL60 dual and VL65 dual).

@rkaminky I will ask them to extend it 1 more day since we technically missed out on Saturday due To a lack of communication regarding whether or not week ends on Sunday or Friday. If that does not work, I will ask them to allow you to call and order over phone and have them manually apply discount. What is a good way to notify you?

Worst case scenario, we will do another wave when the expandable and I cooler comes out, and when the 65 and 60duals With bags comes back in stock.

whichever way we go, I will be sure to update you guys. I know there will be another wave, because I have a lot of ideas to pitch to them as to how we can do a better job with next one. I, for one, did not have time this time around to focus on social media marketing (YouTube and FB), nor did I know enough about the products to feel comfortable pitching it to others. I am slowly getting there.

It is my pleasure brother, and thank you for taking the time to give feedback! Thank you for participating as well.

Tomorrow I plan on calling them (remind me if I forget) to talk about future plans. One thing they asked me for from the beginning, is to help them with feedback. If you guys could be so kind as to take a moment of your time, if you are happy with what you got, to share your thoughts on one of their selling platforms. Their website does have a review system and they could sure use the help.

If you are not happy, or if you are happy but there are concerns, then I invite everyone to share it here. Give me a chance to fix things if it is a mistake on my end, and give IceCo a chance to do the same. We want to be as transparent as possible, so that we can figure out how to deal with it together.

Hold nothing back, as others and future mudders, as well as potential future customers for IceCo, rely on us to lead them in the right direction.

I don’t ever want anyone to feel that they can’t be honest here, or anyone to feel that they can’t share their excitement here as well. I want nothing from you guys but the honest truth.

With that said, I’m excited to see all the pictures of your setup with it! I may even use some as reference for future marketing material/group buys!

And with all that said, please do me a huge favor and give them a moment of your time to leave a review, if you are truly happy. If we work together, we can be the best community of customers that IceCo will ever have! They are getting a good review from me when I figure out what to say with my limited characters available... you know I like to get into details...

This is one of those rare cases where your feedback, your voice, is the best gift that you can give. This will make my job easier when I call to ask them to reserve a portion of their inventory for us, including the expandable and and iCoolers, for me to pass to you guys at a discount.

Lu, Christine and the rest of the team at IceCo have been working very hard to assist me in taking care of you guys, while making sure that the orders go out on time and while dealing with all the emails on top.

If you have questions, please consider asking here first. Anyone who knows the answer are welcome to join in the conversation, and anything we can’t answer together, I will ask them about. I want to help make it easier for them to help us, by weeding out issues we can handle ourselves as a community.

Also, please help me tag anyone that is waiting on a VL65 or barely missed the sale. Otherwise I will do it after I set up camp and finish making dinner/eating. I imagine the easiest way to do it would be to search within this thread for “VL65”

I will like to post my experience with Iceco. I received my fridge today. Missing the cover and had a dent on my fridge. I was still impressed with the quality of the fridge. I called Iceco and Lu answered told me to send pics. So I did.

I found an Iceco Go20 on offer up went to pick it up. I met a guy named Lu. I thought to myself coincidence he was wearing an Iceco shirt. I asked are you a rep for Iceco he says this is Iceco. Showed me around his shop. Lu seemed like a really cool dude.

I had the fridge in the car I showed him the dents he made sure it worked. Offered a discount for damage. Instead I took a discount on the slider.

Gave me the cover that was missing and threw in 2 shirts.

So for me Iceco customer service is great. I am happy with Iceco.

Thanks for sharing! Sounds like a great encounter, and I am glad you were able to get it worked out! Discounts sounds like a very reasonable solution to your dent, and Thank you for being kind to him as well, I really appreciate it.

Also, thank you for the very informative post; I now know that I can also ask for a T-shirt! Send it to me Lu, if you see this. Either small or medium depending on what type of fabric, maybe both for safe measures and I can throw one on Tiger ;).

Edit: Tiger might be a large.

Id like to order the soft cover as well. But I can't locate it anywhere.

This one will end tomorrow. I was supposed to talk to them about future plans today but man I tried to take a nap for 30 mins, and slept for 4 hours. Guess I was tired. Will give them a call now.

about to pull the trigger here but can someone explain the difference between the JP40 and the VL45 other than looks and a 5L size difference?

I think biggest difference is size and how they open. Same compressor so the bulk of it is the same. Look at the video in first post of thread to see a JP50equivalent next to the VL60, so the 45 will be similar but a little smaller. Also what @Whoareu2200 said. Thanks bud!
