Seems like I bought the last of the $54 pair or like everything else the price just went up for no reason.

Surely a treatment plant effluent pump falls under appliances. Pump was replaced when we bought the house 4 years ago but quit spraying. What a fun and smelly job this was. Pump was cooked from intake being plugged. Tried to clean it up but it’s completely cooked. Can’t have a replacement until Wednesday so I had to dig up the emergency overflow pipe so that it could drain without backing the whole system up. I’m glad I’m not a plumber/septic tech as this is some disgusting stuff.

Rob start adding yeast to your system, routinely, this will allow bacteria to grow and eat the stuff up. Done this for 10 years…. Funny our septic company says we still don’t need our tank pumped.
We do this 2-3 times/ year.

F the pump. Leave the drain line exposed. Done.

Drop in something like this with a filter to prevent the clogging. Especially if you don't have a separate pump tank.

Mine is actually just a submersible pump that is sitting up on a couple of blocks to keep it out of the sludge with a float. Much less prone to clogging. But I have a 2 tank system, so I don't get as much solids into my second tank.

Yea it drains across the driveway so that’s not an option.

My set up is 2 tanks as well. Its aerobic system with an aerator in the first tank. In theory there shouldn’t be anything to plug the pump in the second tank but apparently something made it through the chlorinator. I’m going to write it off as a fluke but spent the extra $48 for the 3 year no questions asked replacement.

But I’m no artist. I’m just user. I measly peasant. I pop tart eater amongst croissant aficionados….

But I want to upgrade my k cup nespresso machines

I’m not looking for the perfect latte leaf.
Remember how i wheel. All over the place, too much throttle, pretty s***i…

So point me to to pour beans in and punch a button.

And are they really anything better than the Nespresso machine I use on weekends because pods are 3x as much

Effluent pump went out again. I pulled the pump to make sure there wasn’t something stuck in the intake and I didn’t see any debris. Finally got in contact with the manufacturer, Franklin Pump, and talked to their tech department and it was determined that the pump was faulty. They agreed to send a replacement being that Amazon is an authorized retailer…but Amazon doesn’t sell or distribute them and instead use a 3rd party which is not authorized. Even though I purchased it off of Amazon under Prime the order was fulfilled by some other company. Franklin pump declined the warranty replacement and I’m out $400. Luckily I bought the $48 Asurion extended warranty and after a text communication with a bot an Amazon gift card for the original price before tax was emailed to me. I ordered another pump with the gift card and spent another $48 for the extended warranty due to third party b/s. Just because i never want to do this again any time soon I decided to put a filter on the pump. I found a pump filter kit but after tax and shipping it was $225 so I made my own. A mere $54 later I had me a redneck pump filter. The new pump is completely silent when it’s on whereas the last replacement had a loud whine to it so hopefully I got a dud last time and this one will last for years to come.
