I got the 2.5 meter one on my 80. Its been great so far but also the only one I have every owned.

Looking for someone with an ARB awning I can see in person prior to purchase.

Post up if you have one ,any experience, or info.

6.5' for $230 is the best price I could find

i bought the ARB 2500 awning from Kurt 2 weeks ago. It was drop shipped from ARB. According to Kurt, this is the redesign from ARB. Heavy, well built, and hard to set up with 1 person. Make sure you get the new design instead of old.

What changed in the redesign?

Curious also

Why are you not able to set up with one person anymore?

Can you post or PM me the actual travel dimensions closed.

I liked the ARB over others due to the additional side awning straps.

Closed my ARB is 8'8" long 6" tall and 4.5" deep. I could see how it might be hard for a shorter person to open or close but I am 6'3" and have not issues. Let me know if you want to check it out some time.

Thanks for taking the time with the measurements:cool:

Can you and do you set it up solo?

Yes I can and do, it was a bit of a balancing act the first few times I did it but not I have it down. I have never timed myself but I would guess its under 5 mins to set it up solo.

I can do mine myself, it's the 6.5' version, as long as it's not windy. Doing it yourself means having it balance on just the legs until you peg the legs down and get the guy lines set. It won't do this if it's fairly windy. I've only had mine deployed less than 8-10 times, so maybe you get better at it with more practice!

It's much easier and quicker to do with 2 people because one can hold it while the other adjusts the leg height and stretches the awning taut before pegging the leg and one guy line, then over to the other side.

You can set up the legs with one person. Just harder to do than 2.

The Fiamma is a quality awning. I never camped alone so always had help setting it up. As posted above you should be able to manage it solo. The legs were easily adjusted to permit rain to drain to either side. Real easy to stow after use. Never needed parts, so can't speak to availability.

I have the 2.5 on the 100, set up isn't impossible by yourself. I've done it (under 5 min) several times...but definitely easier.

Also interested to know what differences the "new design" brings.

Phil, I have the Fiamma F35 on my Sierra 4x4 trailer. Let me know if you want to look at it.

Yes Chris I would like to take a look. Pm or call me when you are available.
