Anyone tried Xenopro LED headlights?

Not sure if this helps but this is while driving

The Hikari's require an outboard driver while the IPF's include the driver in their "All-in-one" body? That's weird

This is a good thing as the Hikari's will fit in the headlamp assembly of the LX and still allow the OEM dust cap to be used with out modification. The bulb assembly is much smaller/shorter than the IPF.

I just installed the Hikari XHP50 H11 9600lm bulbs into my 2011 LX570. The install was straight forward and there was plenty of room to place the bulb, driver and cable inside the headlight housing, place the dust cap on AND allow enough room for the self leveling and AFS systems to function. (AFS are the headlights that "turn" with the steering wheel to through light into turns.)

I'm very pleased with the Hikari so far. They seem to put out the same light as the factory halogen H11s but I like the quality of the light much better. And for the price, $69 amazon, and a 2 year warranty, they were reasonable in my book compared to other options.

I'm now contemplating picking up set of the HB3/9005 version for my high beams. Running the LEDs on low and halogen hi beams just looks funny. And wouldn't you know it, Hikari now has (or I didn't see them before) the 12,000lm version. Decisions, decisions...

I'm sure the fogs will be next... Anybody know what bulb is used in the ARB bull bumpers fogs?

Will Hikari's fit on a 100 lx470? IPF's wouldn't.

Ever since I got my IPFs, my 100 feels like it has no light coming out of the headlights even though I have the HID kit.

Would you say the Hikari's output is a lot brighter than the OEM halogens? My main complain with the OEM halogens is that I can barely see anything at night.

No, I'd say their output is about the same however I like the light quality (temperature) a lot better and think it illuminates signs in the distance much better than the halogens.

I’m not sure what kind of magic halogens you had but in my 09LX the Hikari easily deliver 50-75% more light, especially on the sides, way better color that doesn’t blend in with the road at night and all the signs are lit up now as well as anything reflective by a country mile better

I’ll check the wattage if what I pulled out when I get home tonight. I didn’t do a side by side comparison so perhaps I’m mistaken (only have had the LX for about 2 months). Either way I am pleased with the Hikari and will recommend them.

for me it was like the difference between having DRL or having headlights lol. And I tired a different (twice as expensive) set before hand that was not even close in brightness that was $150

IPFs are sooo ridiculously bright that I light up the whole highway at night. Even semi's think I have my brights on.

you probably should aim them down then. I had to do that with Hikari or I would light up the tree tops lol

I have aimed them slightly down and its not blinding but they give out alot of light. Po-po hasn't bothered me even in other states and countries (Canada) and I speed on the highways at night. It's just that on the ground it is very bright and most people are not used to that level of brightness on the ground. I have stood in front of my headlights, my friends, my mechanic, my doorman and none of us felt like it was blinding or overpowering. I do get high beamed daily as people assume that level of light to be high beams.

I recently added high beam bulbs (5,000 lumens) into my fogs and pointed them down, it makes my immediate vision like Ultra high defintion. I can tell the difference between a rat, squirrel, cat, rabbit, possum, coyote and dog even while I am driving with speed at night.

I drive with my fogs on which lets people know it can't possibly be high beams. Had them for a month now, never been flashed once and I live in a pitch dark rural area

The local Kalifornistan Highway Patrol Ford Explorers have clearly switched to a VERY bright LED low beam that appears similar to the IPF in brightness. It could easily be mistaken that their brights are on simply because they are so brilliantly bright at the source, regardless of being properly aimed. Glad to see this bc lets me know they are at least familiar with the look (as they obviously see each other on the roads...and most likely get flashed themselves from time to time.

I think its confusing to other drivers as they are not used to seeing soo much light pollution on the road.

I’ve been flashed a grand total of three times over these months since install, and all were from super-low-driver-position autos. Couple roadsters and a Vette. That’s it.

I took a look. I had Hella 55w bulbs in as my low beams. Maybe I need to check if I messed up the aim putting the bulbs in.

For posterity—

Can confirm the Hikari lights will go into an LX570 no problem. Dust cap fits, no AFS errors. EYE OF MEGATRON.

LED on passenger, stock halogen on driver

All done. Most time consuming part was removing the big ass battery to access driver's side dust cover
