Anyone running 34's without a body mount chop?

Now that the KO2s are offered in 285/75/17, anyone running that size without trimming the body mount?

I'm lifted with SCS high offset wheels and TC UCAs.

My truck DDs amazingly well with 275 KO2’s....how’s the impact with the larger tires?

I’m between 285/70s and 285/75s as my KO2.

There is a way to adjust the lower alignment adjusters to gain clearance in some areas. It's in the SPC UCA instructions.

I think big MT tires kill the feel of the GX on the road . Maybe a regear would help. Right now I'm glad I kept the 265/70/17 for the street. It's my daily driver .

I have 315/70R17 KO2 on TRD Pro rims, with 2.5-3 inch lift. Needed a BMC for sure. Still rubs a little at slow, hard right turns. I don't see how to avoid BMC on 285s with sane lifts.

I regeared to 4.56 when I put in lockers. Feels pretty peppy. Gas mpg went to 16 from 18 on freeway.

lol I needed a BMC with 255/75's on 17x8 0mm wheels and a ~2" lift. It was fine with stock wheels at stock height.

Is this using GPS or math to determine distance traveled, or straight odometer numbers?

I’ve got at least 1.5” at full lock between the edge of the tire and the BM. Fitting 285/70s would be easy....

GPS, and verified on several 1000+ mile trips.

Damn. I'm surprised that economy would go up - you're getting significantly better highway mileage than I do with 32's.

You must have misread my original mpg message. It went from 18 *DOWN* to 16.

I am a slow-poker on the freeway to keep mpg up. I always drive 65 and below --- i.e. I pretend I'm driving a fj40. ;)

Ahhh yeah, I read that as from 16 to 18. Oops.

I get 15. :(
