Hey All

I searched couldn’t find any mention of it

Anyone replace this arm? Pic is a generic aftermarket piece, but only pic I could find with the stud exposed.

Mine seems to have a ton of slop in it and I think that’s the slight clunk I’ve been chasing.

Seems like it might be a tapered/pressed fit into the rear sway bar??

I figure those other bushings are probably toast as were all the others.

Thoughts?

Thanks

I haven't seen anyone replace it, but that doesn't mean it isn't necessary. It isn't exactly cheap, but isn't horrible either.

That fitting isn't taper, it just goes through and a nut tightens on the other side of the sway bar end.

The bushings are available separately.. I bought them long ago due to cracking in mine but never got around to pressing everything.. the shape of the arm seems tough to stabilize in a press. It seems the ball joint isn't available separately.

For the record..

Whole arm: 48830-60050
Middle bushing: 48849-60050
End bushing: 48849-60090

Thank you sir.

Ordered the whole arm since the ball joint is what seems to have all the slop. At the angle it sits at, that has to take a ton of abuse, and its fairly small.

$238 at Olathe

I’ll report back when I get it all apart.
