Please post pics if so, and any details on cost would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I think you’d be looking at bottom end $10k+ easily to have it done, and closer to $20k to have it done right; however, it would still always be a non-OEM paint job. I’d love to see some high-res photos of the final product.

Side note: oddly enough, I saw what looked like an Amazon Green 2016+ 200-series, presumably up-armored, in one of the viral videos when HKIA was being abandoned back in August. Not sure if Toyota offered the Amazon Green color code on 2016+ in overseas markets (like they appeared to do with Sonora Gold w/ the light tan interior scheme?). I’ll try to find that footage.

EDIT: found the link.

The two clips are from the Toyotas of War Instagram account - which is definitely worth checking out. Beyond the 70-series technicals that we’re all used to seeing, the account showcases some very purpose built 200s.

Clip #2 (front and side):

And the photo from the 200s picture thread mention by @sdnative (for reference):

@sdnative - yes, judging from the aftermarket, color code matched bumpers, I think you’re right. It’s the same up-armored green 200 from the stickied picture thread.

I hope the Tban realizes what they have and are enjoying it.

I don't think they offered Amazon Green in the US after 2015, but I do see what look to be 2016+ Amazon Green overseas.

here's an example (post 11000):

There's another that I specifically remember, and even commented on, but can't find it now. Probably the same one you are thinking of.

I repainted my T100 about 2 years ago. It was 7300. It was pull windows, pull bed, pull doors, etc.. It was not under hood or engine bay nor was it interior pull. Based on that I think the 10k from above was a little on low side. I repainted my white and it was white. Good Luck

The LX 2020-2021 came in that amazing green color. So did the lx 470. Green and beige interior is one of my favorite color configs. Very surprised of all the new LX purchase on mud that no one went for it. I posted a photo of one in the picture thread last August once that I photoshopped.

Not Amazon Green. They call it Nori Green Pearl. Looks similar though.

Like this?

Yup, nori green, exactly like that one!

Sad part most dealers were very afraid to spec in this color due to white, black, and silver are what sell fastest.

Nori is a wonderful color

We now more than ever need an Ed Martin Lexus...

I've thought about getting either a GX460 in Nori Green, or getting a very expensive paint job on my 80 in Nori Green. Decisions decisions..

The GX 460 green OEM color is Peridot Mica, IIRC. I have seen only one 460 in this color code in person… one - it is very rare. It is significantly darker than Amazon Green and from what I remember, only looked green in the areas where the sun was directly striking the paint - very cool effect. The other areas of the vehicle looked black. Almost as if it was black and tinted green, if that makes sense. It was definitely stunning in person.

That's the one! No wonder I couldn't find it. I was looking for a picture, I forgot it was a video.

For 2022 they brought Nori Green to the GX as well on a special trim called the Black Line; it's such an amazing color. My buddy bought one for his wife and it was my first time seeing Nori in person; makes me resent Toyota a bit for getting rid of the fun colors. If they had offered Nori or Amazon on the 21's it would have been first choice easily. If for some reason I ever decide to wrap my vehicle years down the line something like one of those colors is the front runner

Yeah and they blacked everything out since 2020. 2022 now has carplay.... Get the peppy V8 460 while you still can i guess.
Of all the coming changes though across the models, i think they will lean into the GX more than any other since its their sweet spot for USA SUV sales.
We may even get a real GXOR.
Other than cost man this is the real V8 4 runner we lost at 4th gen.

I was actually just playing around on their website and apparently you can't option the Black Line GX with the offroad package so Nori Green and MTS/Crawl are mutually exclusive; Mark Levinson isn't even an option on the Black Line. It's like they made a TRD Pro special edition except they put it on an SR5 trim level

LOL. This kinda stuff drives me up the wall.

Are the MTS and airbags tied together? It may be better for some just to go with the base i guess.
If you can ever get Mark Levinson though do it. Sisters got the base GX, not sure of package but its captains chairs, no bags, no ML, no MTS.
She wouldnt listen about the options but I got it for her for literal pennies though.
