Morning all - I live in rural eastern Oregon, and for years have coveted this FJ45 I've seen parked at a small cluster of homes just outside of town. It's been parked about a 1/4 mile off the road so I've never had a chance to really check it out up close.
I've toyed with stopping in and seeing if the owner is interested in selling; I know he is a Cruiser fan, as he's got a wrecked FJ45 LV, at least one FJ60 and a FJ62, as well as this FJ45.
Last night, was dropping off my Tacoma for some work at my mechanic, and what would be at his shop? The 45! Was able to snap some pics; apparently the stock motor threw a rod and the owner is having our mutual mechanic throw a rebuilt 2f with a H42 in the 45. I didn't open the doors or anything, as it isn't mine, but looks like it is mostly intact.
Not sure if anyone knows the owner here on the forum, or can tell me anything about the truck? I believe it is pre-76, as it has the 3 speed floor shifter, but outside of that I don't know. Pretty sweet though...
