Anyone know of a shop that will let me bring in my own parts?

Hey all,

I just ordered DBA cross drilled/slotted 4000 series rotors(front and rear), new pads and extended SS break lines. I'm thinking of also buying a knuckle rebuild kit from C-dan. I'm looking for a shop to do the install that won't mind me doing a BYOP. Anyone know a shop in Tucson that can help me out. I just don't have the time.

what would you think is a fair price for the work considering they wont make any cash off of the parts?

Thanks

I heard Alvin works for tsingling and mugugaipan.

Hey Alvin I still have that third break light insert in the back of my truck waiting for the next time I swing by if these freaking 70+ work weeks ever let up I'm just to dead to do anything but sit in front of the PC and drink some beer on the weekends. that said I may just be able to make it over this Sunday for a bit and could drop it off then.

So what about desert rat... think the would install it and not gripe about BYOP....anyone know of a shop that will. I was thinking of giving Dan's toy shop a call again they did the PHH with the blue silicon and breeze free claps a while back.... I paid a lot there though.

Don't let Desert scat touch your junk!! Those guys are idiots.
I'll probably be around sunday throwing wrenches. It's time for the diffs and xfer to get fresh juice.
I don't work for mugugaipan, I work for beer. Get it right Bman!

A shop in Tucson that took over a job for me and used my parts was Douglas Auto Repair. Phone 744-8918. They are hidden in an out of the way desert area north of the IHOP on Cortaro Road just east of I-10. To get to them go north on the last dirt road before the I-10 frontage road. As I recall, take the right fork in the road. You will soon see their shop area. There are always quite a few cars there. (The folks are very friendly and it is a very busy shop. They seem to have a very solid reputation among folks on the northwest side.

I have had them work on several of my vehicles(not land cruisers) and was always satisfied.

I do most of my own work on my cars, but when I don't have time, I send it to Douglas auto. He does have a good reputation. Once I needed a new crate engine for my Blazer and he saved me some money by buying it wholesale. He probably made something on it, but it was still cheaper for me. I also brought in a cam that I purchased for them to install before I took the engine.
