Rick,

The PDF is enough. I'll look around and see what I have on hand for materials. Pretty sure I have some HDPE sheet that would work well for this. Probably have some 6061T6 if you gotta have metal. ;)

I doubt I'll have time to mess with it until the weekend though.

I don't get it. Why do we need those?

before you make any bends that gets clamped on the tube at the far end and then zero'd out.

Now that becomes your reference point to ensure that subsequent bends are referenced accurately to zero.

lets say thay you are going to bend a some pipe that will run along the roof, turn down the A pillar along the windshield and then turn in to attach to the frame.

You would bend the tubing for the turn down and then need to rotate it for the second bent so it would turn in.

The software will tell you where to start the bends and then how may degrees to rotate the tubing and in which direction so it is the correct shape.

this video shows you the basic idea. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pOcqZQAmMgU

and this one is just cool as s*** to watch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ot0Cxmk2aa4

That is cool.

That last video is crazy. Doesn't even look real.

Is that smoke coming out of the machine before the pipe?

To where? I am ready to start anytime on my project. Just have to do the mounts in my shop floor. Anyone else have a project in mind for the near future?

I thought it had already made its way to ct...lol Looking forward to messing with it. May do some tube work for my trailer project and the 40.

Oh, that's cool. Thanks. Maybe we can brain storm on the mounting while your here. Any choice of beers for the occasion?

Ok. sounds good. I appreciate you dropping it off.
