Anyone in CT. want to go 1/2 on a JD2 bender.

Thats an option but an individual cost to everyone. You are then limited to outside (cold/went) unless you are willing to sink the bolts in your garage. It also limits you if you want to take it to a buddy's place to help him bend some tube. Just throwing out random thoughts but it doesn't impact me. I have a slight tool purchasing addiction and will probably end up buying a bender for my next project anyway.

I built my stand out of a scrap 12" I-beam and some angle. With a hydraulic power unit it's pretty portable. I have either a gas powered log splitter pump or an electric unit for use with it.

I figured I could tack weld the bender stand to the deck of my trailer or rig a trailer hitch plug if I needed to use it manually...

Ok,,we have something going here.

Scrowley $200
Landtank $200
Wrench $200 ??
Leaping Dear $200 ??

Landtank is near the seller. Let's make this happen. Hey Nick how do we get a hold of the seller if this all works out? Thanks for the heads up on the deal.

We give them $800 for the setup. I can house it in my shop. I need it for a tube project this winter. Maybe like 4-6 wks. Then it can go on to the next project. I will be putting anchors in my concrete floor. I think this would be easy for anyone who uses it.....or like Yotafrick mentioned about using a concrete sona tube in the yard. That is a slick idea.
I've got 200.00 I could through in the pot but no place to store it. Exeter isn't that far from me.

I looked up anchors and you will need a Hilti or similar but not a big deal. I just couldn't find any mounting schematic but centered in a garage bay should be just fine. When you are done just plug with a bolt to keep debris out.

Sorry I should have been more clear. I don't have the cash to be spending on one right now.

I'll take Jason's spot.
I also have a large hilti to put anchors in.

I can do 200 but no place to house/use it here.

ok. that's cool. You can use it at my place if you ever need it. Or just do the sona tube deal somewhere outside.
I can do 200 but no place to house/use it here.

I will call him tomorrow. That would work out good.

give him a call, I'm 25 miles from there and can have cash on hand.

Anyone else intested in a $200 investment/tool?

4th purchaser found. Thanks guys. I will call Keith tomorrow and try to line up the deal. I will post up after I find out the details.

Looks very cool. But I think might be over my head. I think I'm going to go for trial and error...

How did you make out contacting Keith?

Willing to throw an extra 100 in the pot for the software. That's awesome.

I called Keith and the bender is at the track so I'll be picking it up next week.

The software plays right into my professional job and can tell you it will literally pay for it self in time and material costs. This is how my company eliminates the need for highly skilled labor. You end up with a better product at half the skill level.

I might be able to put together a laptop for it.

That software is gold. It makes it fool proof. The awesome thing is you can see a 3d rendering of what you want to build before you start bending. No wasted material. That's key.
