No ...

I've been way too busy to even move the truck let alone go wheeling. Hoping to get out towards the end of July. Looking to start the motor, tranny, and PS swap on the 71 FJ40 here in the next few weeks.

Caz,

I spent time on your question when I lived in PA, rolling the proverbial ball with ALCA. The most challenging part about PA and this group is the geographical distance between cruiser folk... Hard to get meetings and such going due to drivetime. The very most success Gary and I had was meeting at Rausch after a day of wheeling. The turn out would vary but we had some nice rides/cookouts. Wheeling cruises and Toyota 4x4's is the main draw so .... Take it and run with it. I would suggest bimonthly meetings (unless an event coincides, in that case attend the event). Get the meetings on the calendar and meet at Rausch to wheel then chat after the ride. That gives everyone incentive to attend as well as planning time.

You all have a kickass place to wheel and loads of Toyota folks...
Don't take it for granted.

hey everyone just popped in here to check things out. I am not very active right now but still keeping the interest up

i love cruisers, but have almost no interest in taking them out in the woods.
i just like driving and working on them.

I was generalizing for the purpose of gathering cruiser folk, not to exclude anyone's respective interests....Raush's green trails are practically dirt roads and great for casual driving.

Speaking of which...I got the drivers side dogleg you wanted. My next trip up your way will be for CMCC. If you need it sooner, send me a PM with your addy and I'll drop it in the mail to you.

As for me...new/old boat keepin me busy...then there was that fair amount of work on my daughters red wagon...and just not to feel left out :princess: took her FJC offroading (unintentionally) and now it's up on jack stands in the garage awaiting me to install new upper and lower a-arms, ball joints, links, stabilizer, and in leiu of replacing the front bumper with original....an ARB out front.

Looking forward to CMCC...but it is still too early for me to register.
