Ouch thats alot of rust on that cruiser

certainly alot of rust on it Diesler but looks bad in the pics as it lost the shape when i removed from the chassis but I have it braced now and is a matter of plating etc. a mission i know but i'm confident to get this thing on the road this year(against all odds)

Glad to see a cruiser in Ireland! Good luck with the rust!

When I see stuff like that it makes me feel like I'm working on a brand new truck with mine.
Not to turn you off your project BJ40dude, anything is repairable.
Thanks for sharing your pics.

Thanks for sharing the prices. I have to say they look too cheap - fenders for $164 US? Add the shipping and it is still quite cheap. The other problem is the parts on the list won't complete your LC, you will need much more belive me:rolleyes:.

The rivet or weld question worries me - welding is the only way to repair a steel vehicle like these for lots of reasons.

For comparison I have just got a price on fibreglass fenders and front bib and bezel from Canada a bit over $900 US, excluding shipping, taxes etc.

you should start a build thread

how do. been a while since i seen this wagon.

heres how i found it and left it..... for some head the ball to do up:)

Check with Paul Pilgrim on the price of a full tub. Way easier and faster than fixing that pile of rust.
