Has anyone done this on a V8 Land Cruiser?

I am thinking of adding. I like V8 exhaust sound, just not ALL the TIME.

Thoughts?

Dumps are for muscle car posers. If you want better sound, get a quality exhaust system with a throaty muffler.

I realize that however I like loud exhaust every now and then, not all the time. I prefer LC quiet most of the time. I do not even like throaty all the time.

In heavily travelled areas NFS/BLM rangers may be carrying DB meters. Anything over 100 DB could get you cited.

Furthermore the exhaust back pressure is an important component of performance. Are you really willing to trade low end torque for noise

I removed my exhaust for a week, it sounded good in the higher RPM's, lower (under 2500RPM) RPM's it just sounded like a broken Chevy( should I even capitalize Chevy? ). It really wasn't too loud inside, I know anthonycds has straight pipes and it sounds pretty good.

It can be done, but it is very loud and I'm sure I was lucky not getting a ticket for it. You could hear me coming from a couple hundred yards. I'll see if I still have the videos on my camera, but I'm sure those are long gone...
