I know most of you have been out to play in the snow with the trucks.... so post up some pictures for all to see :)

I've had the 80 out each day since Friday, driving hospital employees to and from work. It's the best excuse to go play around in the snow that I could come up with.

I haven't had a chance to get pics, yet, but I'll try today.

I tried playing...then ended up digging and digging and...
For the most part i've just been playing taxi and trekin to work and back. i have noticed that most the 4x4s out and about are toyotas...and the fords and jeeps in the ditch. They give up too easily when they could have just backed out.

Here is the little green truck.... Did great in the snow. Got stuck in a big snow drift back in December.

None of the side streets in DC have been plowed, so it is rough here.

Didn't take the 40 out but the Tacoma didn't let me down. Somewhere between the trees was the driveway.

wish I had some pics... I was out in it everyday cruising around dc. Barhopping in the snow is the best!

Interestingly, I saw a TON of LR3s stuggling to get around.

Used the 4Runner to haul the snowblower over to the inlaws and strapped a neighbor out of the ditch. No pics, too busy clearing snow.

The 40 has been supervising my shovel work while parked safely in the carport. I think I heard it snicker when my neighbor got stuck with his fancy Exploder in only 14" of snow. Since he had just shoveled a pile of snow in front of another neighbor's driveway I did not offer assistance...didn't trust myself to be civil after watching him do that to an ailing woman who is living alone.

Some people just don't think...

That makes you want to get a front end loader and dump what he shoveled right on his door step. idiots

I havn't worked since last thursday so I have been out and about some in my dually. My cruisers are at home in roanoke. but I saw way too many people in cars getting stuck. Im just not going to stop and get out to help some idiot that needs to go to the liquior store.

I am amazed that Vienna Inn was opened throughout the entire storm serving its loyal customers. It was a packed house and their parking lot was full of 4x4s, obviously!

If I'm helping some idiot in a rear-wheel drive vehicle going to the liquor store I'm following him so he will buy ME some liquor.

If I learned one thing from the boy scouts, it was 'be prepared'! Always have a good stash of booze with you just in case it turns rough out there...

Just catching this thread: her are a couple of pics.

1996 FZJ-80, with optional Front and Rear Lockers.

Vehicle went great, didn't need the lockers (but it is nice to know you have them!)
