John Runberg and I have been working on a reproduction a/c type heater duct. a/c model FJ40's use a unique (the "L200") heat duct that allows more clearance for the evap case. It also allows more leg clearance for the passenger as well if used on a non a/c model. If you look at ccot's reproduction OEM type heater they issue a dryer duct for this one. Brett Galand has tried to cut down regular ducts with little success. The vacuum formed duct John's company would churn out is a great solution for this piece -the single rarest part to a factory nippondenso ac system.

...anyway...if we can get a group buy in for 50 or more, costs would be under $50 each. Please PM me if you are wanting a duct or need more details (or post here).

Nothing like replying to a 22 year old post. Were you successful in making these L200 ducts? I am looking for one.

Instead of resurrecting an ancient thread, try a pm next time.

Duct was lost by freight or recipient and I had zero others interested in production. The project died a quick death. When I finally put the 40 series on the market (2007?) I had to find another duct to install. I have committed to 70 series platforms, a truck series with far more parts availability.

You mean you all dont make your own ducting?

The L200 possibly starting with a non A/C heater duct. But not for either of the non A/C styles. Those are not worth modifying since in the used market those can still be found.

Anyone have a link to 3D printed L200 being sold? Even just the section between the heater going to the firewall that is different.

Heritage cruisers is selling printed ones. I have one, appears to fit well.
