For sale in south TX. ARB front bumper and what looks like a 2" lift.

Honestly am a little nervous about buying a 200 series that's already been modded, not knowing what all has been done.

Am also worried about a few lines in the carfax, 3/11/13 (body/electrical) and 12/9/13 (ecu). Should those be red flags??

Thoughts would be appreciated.

I don't like that the transmission was "flushed" at a "Service facility" and not at a dealer. I also don't like that all the differential and transfer case fluids were changed or "flushed" at a "Service facility" and not a dealer.

Also, reading between the lines, there appears to be some kind of persistent electrical problem that was never resolved.

Personally, I'd give it a pass :(

I ran across some engine electrical codes when I was searching for my 200. Not too uncommon (from what I have seen...). C'mon man, don't settle for silver; you know you want something better. There was a great deal on a silver one a few months ago in Biloxi, MS. Eventhough, the bumper, winch, are what is probably an OME lift is about $4k in accessories, and that is pretty cool. I will say, that despite what CLC says about the OME lifts, they have not been getting that good of reviews in 200 series cruisers, so you may be paying for something you may not even want in the long run. Just my $0.02.

Here's an old thread I did:
