Looks like an excellent candidate for a trail truck from the description, two lockers and a bit of rust.

Poor thing, doesn’t even have a bezel. ,,, But, I know where one is that’s being disrespected!:D

Seller is Camelback Toyota, somehow I doubt it's a CERIFIED TOYOTA. Maybe someone traded it in for a new FJ Cruiser. Back seats look like they might be old brat seats. If I was in the market I would say 1.5K tops.

I'm glad I'm not in the market cause I'de have to pass at $500. Depending on the lockers of course...

Depending on the lockers of course...

my sentiment exactly, and Michael says: ""I got a Bezel already........"

nobody answers the phone, though

Well I've seen it and unless you REALLY want a relatively rust-free 40.... pass.

It does NOT have lockers. I told them this (remember, I do IT work for them) and they kinda shrugged. Did not talk to they guy who placed the ad, however.

Stock engine, trans, xfer. Lots of custom wiring. Dual batteries. Stock drum brake front axle. No hood ornament. I didn't drive it.

just stopped by to see it.....I agree with mark....the thing is ROUGH. however, it is MUCH better shape than mine when I first got it. I would say it is a parts rig primarily.

Did you see any lockers? It has locking hubs...

no air lines, no buttons on the dash, console or "Extra Modifications" that the owner had constructed. It could have lockrites, or something internal only, but from the looks of it - I doubt it.

well, as I just got out of a case of ebay misrepresentation (computer-related), I have little patience for misrepresentation - from a Toyota dealership no less

Hmmm well I'm sure it's not on purpose. They are calling it an "FJ" after all. The guy who wrote the ad probably has no clue what lockers are. Or what a FJ40 is. I'm there now, maybe I'll educate him if I can find him...

We just shared an email, mark you were right, the guy thought because you had an option on the front axle to go from "FREE" to "LOCK" that it had a locking differential.

It has alreadyt sold, i hope the new owner gets some money back from this deal....

Oh really?
