I don't know what BG stands for but I do know that they make internal engine cleaners etc. Stuff like fuel system, transmission and engine cleaner and fluids. A shop I was at likes and swears by this stuff. Anybody know anything about it or have experience with this brand?
we use BG in our german car shop have very good luck with all of there products. definately not for fixing a particular problem but good for keeping things in good running order and clean.
BG stands for "Bearing and Gear". They have been around for as long as I can remember and I have been using their stuff for over 25 years. They do not market on the retail level. They target new car dealers and Wholesale repair facilities. They have very fine products.
I have come to consider any BG product available absolutely awesome. The 44K is the safest strongest cleaner I've ever used (actually the ONLY one I use [although RedLine works well too] and all of their other products are awesome too. There are probably only two products I would not use as a rule and they are the cooling system cleaner because I think as a rule it is better to simply flush...and the oil additive package because I use synthetic and I think as a rule it is better to simply stick with that. BG also makes an awesome line of battery cleaner spray, terminal spray, belt spray, waterproof lubricant sprays, intake cleaner spray, and all sorts of other things that are awesome. The other thing I appreciate alot about them is that whenever I have called they always have an extremely knowledgable and extremely proud chemist, yes chemist, available to answer any questions.
