Anybody have a decent frame for sale?

I had one a couple of months ago. Best bet might be to buy a cheap 40 where the body is shot for under 1000. Thats how I got mine the guy I got it from trashed the body kept the driveline(you could sell it) and a few misc good parts and I got the frame.
I've seen a few recently with good frames but the rest was junk.

I was thinking the same thing but I'd like to keep my eyes peeled for a good deal on just a frame. It would save me a lot of aggravation of tearing down another truck.
Not sure where you live but I'll be up at Kina's in NH in 2 weeks. Could haul one back to MA

Oh yea, I know who you're talking about. I've never been there and just figured it was a pick-n-pull type place for landcruisers.
He's not a pick and pull. does great work also and is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to cruisers.

That wouldn't be a later model frame guessing by the F motor an the 78 and earlier seats.

There's a 79 for sale in Plymouth, MA. He was originally asking $1K, but he's up to $1,500 now. Funny how that works.

I've been considering that one, but I've gotta feeling that the frame isn't as "mint" as he claims. Most people take a quick peek under the truck and when they don't see any big holes they call it "mint"!
If interested, I will part out what I have and sell my frame with the new suspension and front and rear ends. This frame is absolutely mint. Better than new. Can be seen on my post for 75 FJ-40 in CT. I will give you a good deal. PM me if interested. Thanks, Frank.

I would love to buy a bare frame like that but can't do it for $1200. There's a guy in Plymouth with a whole rig for under $1000 and it's got a mint frame.
That Plymouth one did look good. I;m sure you could sell some spare parts off of it and have the frame for short money in the end
