Thought about it this year, but two reasons for a no go. 1. Semi Annual Wine Tasting event at my golf club is a not to be missed to taste and purchase wines at great prices. 2. Even leaving Friday after work makes for a long drive burning 3 tanks of gas for what's basically one day on the beach, just not worth it.

Seems like the local S Cal group will be least represented compare with Nor Cal and Central CA.
I want to go Baja if I can find some one going since I didn't want to wander around by myself down there, if nothing come up then I'll go SNT then. Thanks.

Once I get my new rig I will be back down to Baja. I go 2-3 times a year.
We had a good group for the SoCal Land Cruiser Club go to Pismo. Had a great time. The weather was outstanding! Sun all day and no wind! Perfect!!

Haven't made it yet and it looks like this year would of been a good one to go to... However, I had class week all week and wasn't done until 5pm on Friday, plus Dad had a quadruple bi-pass on Monday. Hopefully next year will be just as nice and we'll be free.

Planning for next year, is Turf & Surf/Surf & Turf always held on the 1st weekend of November? I checked on the Central Coast Cruiser site and I didn't see it mentioned for 2016.

Dad at Mission? They've got a great Cardiology program there! I know!! They've also got a superb cardiac rehab program I hope he'll be able to take advantage of when doctors clear him to do so. Great group of nurses trained in cardiac rehab and exercise that put me back on the path of exercise I still do to this day. All the best to your Dad!!!
On T&S/S&T, yes, it's historically always been on the first weekend in November from what I recall. Check out Jim Brantley's (PismoJim) site for past event dates if he's still got the pages up!
Glad to hear he's okay and plan is to be home today.........
