I'm looking to purchase a SWB FJ45 and I wanted to see if anyone in the Houston, Texas area had one. I'm 6'3 and I want to make sure I can comfortably sit in it. Let me know if anyone has one that I could possibly come by and take a look at.
Thanks

I was talking with a gentleman in cold springs before I purchased mine. It was more of a restomod project than I was looking for. I have his phone number. Also one in the Dallas area.

I'm 6'4" and my 45 is my daily.

I got to drive RustyNailJustins swb and I am 6'4. It fit fine but I would not want to do a cross country trip in one.

removable top or fixed?
fixed would be tight. removable top would be the same as an long wheel base 45

our bodies were not designed to fold up like is required to sit in a 45 but it can be done for short periods. I drove a 45 about 1100 miles over two days and it wasn't bad but it was an automatic and my spinal bushings recognized the achievement. I also drove a 40 series almost 1400 miles over two days as well, not much but definitely more room. I used CRV seats in a 45 I just did and the drivers seat bottom is adjustable and the seat back is thin yet comfortable. It may not seem like much but cabin space is sold by the .25 inch standard. To work for every .25 inch available I also used an FJ62 steering wheel and column for power steering. The end result was an FJ 45 that was quite comfortable and cruising 300 miles without issue was common. It may not seem like much but a smaller wheel tilted and a thinner seat add up and provide a noticeable difference. I'm 5'11"

Maybe this helps maybe this doesn't?
