I never even thought once about regearing with that setup. All trucks are a little different given, but I would find a local 80 or club and drive one with that setup. SHouldn't be too hard to find, like said a very common setup.

Resurrecting this from the dead instead of starting a new thread/same topic...
Has anyone kept stock size tires with the 2.5" lift long term? I wouldn't mind going ~1" taller on the tires (with lift) but don't want to get into re-gearing, less MPG, etc...
Thoughts? Newer pics?

In theory, I'd like to stay stock on the tire size for MPG, minimize weight gain, minimize sluggishness, etc., that might be associated with a larger diameter tire, but that ~1.5" increase might not be too bad.
