not on my hundy but on my FJ60...they are 33x9.5 so a little taller and skinnier than most but made them VERY quiet on road going skinny...I mean as quiet as my all terrains were actually.

on my hundy I was going to go with the KM2 again I was so pleased with performance, sound, etc....but I have been interested in the new Nitto Trail Grapplers as well and got an offer I could not refuse for a new set of five....noisier than the KM2 but then again they are 2.5 inches wider and the hundy is SOoooo quiet I can hear everything unlike the noisy 2F motor in 60
They are 285x65x18 with no additional lift...running AHC at NORMAL setting..no rubbing

I don't understand, by my calculation, these tires are nearly 35" in size. Even offroad, in off camber situations, you still don't have any rubbing? Did you re-gear your diffs with these tires? What happened to your mileage? I LOVE how they look, and soooo much better than the 16's with that size! I have a 99 in the same color!

i fat fingered the numbers...Loud is correct, they are 65 ratio not 75....and are about 33.6 if I remember right. The 295x75x18 I was going to put on were almost 34.8 I think and I was worried about rubbing without a lift or using the SLEE fix on my LX.

I have now had my BFG KM2's for at least 7K miles and could not be more pleased with these MT tires. I have had the opportunity to drive on these tires in all types of conditions within this short period of time and they have out performed my expectations.

Highway driving as most have noted is not near as quite as BFG AT/KO's, but that is to be expected. I have found that they have kept there balance and I get no vibration or pull after 7K.

They handle very well in the snow. When driving through Colorado, the pass was snow covered and had the opportunity to drive on ice and snow on the highway and I felt comfortable the entire time. I also stopped off at the Eisenhower tunnel to play around in the snow at the rest stop parking lot and found that they handle well in the deep snow providing good traction.

While in Moab they did great. But to be honest, you can run most any tire in Moab and do good. The rock is so sticky that it really doesn't matter in my opinion. What I will say is that after a week of hard wheeling these tires did NOT chunk. They almost looked like they had never been off road. I had a set of Toyo MT's on another cruiser as well as BFG AT/KO's and both chunked bad after hitting the trails in moab.

It looks as if these tires will hold up as well as my BFG AT/KO's did (regarding tread life) and last me quite some time. I would recommend the BFG KM2's to anyone looking for a good MT tire.

I am getting them next. We take the wife's GX on all family trips now and the KM2s will see DD use at about 9k a year. They stick like glue. The first time I saw them in action was on Bill Burke's D90 at Uwharrie about 3 years ago. He had a prototype set and he loved them. He was testing them for BFG and he said they were the one of the best tires he had ever used.

LOUD was correct...i fat fingered and should have been 65 not 75.... No I did not regear but mileage took a little hit but more due to weight of tires being they are 10ply and E-rated..but I wanted durability rather than light soft sidewalls. On highway going 65-70mph on cruise control I got about 330 miles before gas light came on...which was about 15.8 mpg when I filled up if I remember right. Around town it is 12.8-13mpg if i keep a very light skinny pedal with mixed city hwy driving to work and dont run AC too much in traffic...LOL

Zane...did you sipe your tires?

What did he regret? I have a friend with sipped KM2's and he likes them just fine. Granted it's on a light Jeep Cherokee and not a heavy LC.

He siped them only in prep for his Alaska trip. They did not wear well. They chipped up all over. We're horribly noisy. That's what I can remember.
