Any new changes for the '15 model?

I seriously doubt there will be any changes. They just had a mid year refresh and the LC Typically get a new overall change every 10 years.

There probably won't be any real changes to the LC till the new CAFE regulations go into effect in MY 17.

Some are speculating an end to the LC here in the NA Market. The LX would continue.

Ohff, that could be bad news! The Lexus GX goes in 16 and the LC in 17.

So would we all have to migrate to the 4Runner here in the US? Beno, do you think the Sequoia will stick around, or will that go as well?

Have they added bluray in place of standard dvd? I think the Sequoia just got that upgrade. That might be the only change I can think of.

Thank you for the input. Just a side note since CAFE regs were mentioned. I'm curious about what the new 2015 Landy Defender will turnout looking and functioning like?

hmmm, just checked the Sequoia does come with blue ray, but the LC doesn't.... weird... not a huge deal, but a bit weird...

Would be great if this brings the turbo diesel to the LC. I looked this up and not sure how many will meet the requirement.

Wouldn't be surprised if they added blind spot monitoring. Wish they added that on the '13 upgrade. The rav4 has it?

It is truly remarkable that this vehicle does not have blind spot monitoring - of all the upgrades in 2013 and they "forget" to add a $100 blind spot monitor?.... Rav 4 and the LS 460 have it as well as a host of other select Toyota/Lexus vehicles. Of all vehicles, one would think the LC/LX should be at top of the list. I mean, the third row is already folded up against the window taking away that much more visibility....

hybrid diesel LC for US in '17

I've had multiple vehicles with blind spot monitors, BLiSS, whatever you want to call them. Half the time they don't work because they are dirty or wet. 1/4 of the time they don't work because lighting or other conditions are wrong. I don't trust them.

I bought 3" convex mirrors and attached them to the corners of my mirrors. Now I can see everything just fine. Simple solution to a simple problem .

Yeah, I finally adjusted the side mirrors based on the attached video and it has made a big difference. Not as helpful when backing out of a driveway, but a game changer on the interstate.

I asked yesterday (good friend is a manager) he hasn't heard a peep about the 2015s yet.

Only other thing I can think of is the new steering wheel that the new Tundra, GX and 4R has.

hybrid diesel LC for US in '17

I would be very amazed if this happened.

We will not see any change to the current iteration of the LC in any real form until the CAFE regulations of 2017 take effect.

Then we will see what happens for the future of the LC in the North American market.

Land Rover prototype tests are reportedly getting over 40mpg in their hybrid diesel trucks. Toyota has stated that hybrids are in the works for all of their models. The new Toyota diesel will burn clean enough for US in '16

What clean burning Toyota diesel do you speak of?

The only Toyota diesel truck engine really is the 4.5L single/double turbo V8.

Other than that, it's Hino engines or put a Cummins in it.

Toyota is very conservative and will continue to be so. The LC has always been its slowest evolving platform. I don't see that changing any time soon.

LR is not a good comparison mainly due to economies of scale, demographic, and the design intention and goals of the LC platform as designated by both Toyota as well as the chief engineer Sadiyoshi Koyari.
