The state park at the tip of the peninsula is a nice place for camping, they have some small cabins too.

That’s a cool idea! I was thinking more B&B, and now we’re stay-cationing so I can get more done on her 80 prior to a weekend lost to drill. I have until Sep 19 to have it going.

Maybe then we could take it up for a long distance shake down-fall color run.

I'd also suggest the state park up past Northport. Sorry but we can't reccomend anything near Leland. Ed

Although paved the county back roads are extremely scenic and spotted with wineries. Sutton Bay has a good microbrewery.

To late but for you next trip there is Falling Waters Lodge. Ive not stayed there but its right there on creek. They have a Facebook page.

That place is under new ownership and they're remodeling. The previous owners let the place go. It is a great location and maybe it will be revived eventually. We would not stay there. ed
