Any interest in a wagon run on the Dusy Ershim train?

That is the same weekend as Marlins Run. Or at least that is what I wrote down at tonights meeting when he told me.

I know Marlin's run is somewhere there abouts but my anniversary is the 28th and I don't think the wifey would bee too good with me being off wheeling for it.

I also wouldn't mind going the first weekend in October but I like the cold.

Sounds like a nice plan. I would certainly consider it. I may have to travel for work during those days. But I'll keep you posted. I'd really like to do it again.

oct is good, overnight temps can get in the 10-20*. also more chance of a storm +(less dust)

This trail has a gate on both ends that the forest service closes. I don't know the dates. But apparently when there's snow on the ground, the trail is closed for the season.

You're correct. I was in there with about 3" on the ground last year and I know of folks who have been in there with as much as 3 ft. Although that is a very rare occurance. Gates? Helps to know someone whith keys.

My club will most likely be running in from the top on Saturday to close Ershim lake for the winter.
