Im about to pull the trigger on a set of TRD rock warrior rims and kind of like the look of some fuel and method wheels. They will be going on a white 2013 model. I want to keep a mature look to the rig so I was hoping y'all could share some pictures. My tire of choice will be a Nitto G2 in a 285/75/17. Thanks in advance to any advice you can give me.

Check out wheel and tire database in stickies. Kreiten is running fuel Anza.

I'm running the Fuel Anza 18x9 with a 20mm offset... The Methods are great also, depending on which style you roll you can get them in anything from a 25mm offset to an 18mm offset in the 18 inch rim. Here's a pic of my rig, let me know if ya have more questions... -Kreiten

Thanks for the Pics!! Do you have any side shots of your rig? Im just thinking the TRD rims might be a little played out and at 400 a piece its a little crazy in my opinion.

thanks

not sure I have any side shots of my rig, but I can grab a couple today or tomorrow for ya!

Looks great ! Thanks for sharing. Now I need to decide what will look better on white. Those rims look amazing on gray.

I'm sure you already are on top of it but just keep in mind several reasons guys choose wheels... I'd say looks is the first thing out the gate for most peops, but then you've got offset, wheel size, wheel width etc... The TRD's are one of the few 17's(From what I have read, I am planning on test fitting some 17 inch Methods to see if they will fit over the brakes) that you can fit on the 200. And they are a 17x8 with a 50mm offset, so they stick out only slightly farther than the stock wheel. So what the TRD wheel gives you is more sidewall a slightly more aggressive stance but something that does not stick out so far that you still get a good "tuck" with a 35 inch tire. The Ausie's run a lot of the Methods with a 25mm offset(18x9) and roll 35's(just a bit tighter than the TRD's). With an 18x9 with 20mm offset things start to get a bit tighter, that extra 5mm of offset starts to put you in danger of the tire hitting the upper fender lip at full tuck(depending on tire width/height) I do think the added wheel track and stance of the 20mm wheel looks awesome, but just keep in mind there are also drawbacks(IMO). I'm thinking of getting another pair of shoes, would proly be the BFG AT's. I would proly roll them for the street and snow only and thus could roll 35's with 20mm offset wheels. Then I'll grab some Methods (25mm offset) and slap my mudders on those for offroad to give myself a little more "tuckability"... @montanarally is rolling some 12.5 inch wide tires(34x12.50) on the Anza 18x9's(he is going to take it out and flex it up and will have some nice feedback to add to this) hope this all helps, just wanted you to keep in mind all the factors that go into choosing a wheel.... -Kreiten

Thanks again for the detailed response. I love the way the Fuel rim looks so I think its between them and the TRD rims. I have a feeling I can get a much better deal on the fuel rims rather than the $400 TRD rims.

Is the size on yours 17x8 with a 25mm offset? Would I be ok fitting a 285-75-17 Nitto G2 all terrain? Also I noticed you did not have a center cap. Did you just decide not to run them or they don't fit?

Thanks again

My wheels are 18x9 with a 20mm offset! I'm not sure if the 17 inch wheel will fit over the brakes or not? I'm not a fan of center caps, not sure why, just don't like them:) A 285x75 R17 should fit no prob with a lift and some trimming... let me know if ya got more questions.... -Kreiten

17x8.5 Method 201 forged beadlock, powder coated black. At 4.5 offset, even with 33's x 11.5 toyo's they still stuff nicely...

I have been slacking;) so far I Have just mobbed a ditch to will lol ditch traffic no rub . I need to do a little work on the passenger side body mount arm. Rubs at various turns at odd times .i think it needs just a kiss with the grinder and it'll be fine . I'll be taking the hippo out up the trail the weekend to test out the tuck and also test out the sliders and prob how much over hang the rear bumper has o_O lots of pics to come

Great pictures. i think I have decided to go with the TRD rims and be done with it with no spacers. It seems to be the safest route with great fit.

thank you
