I'll put the torch and hammer on em'. should be ok.
There is a Toyota Diesel shop here in Mobile that works on the diesel fork lifts. when i talked to them a few months back, they felt pretty good about doing an work on my 1H if it needed to be done... don't see why they could not work on a 1HZ...

leaving for the overland expo in amado, az on april 14. engine gets here thursday, and i'm going out of town for Easter, so that leaves me about 8 days to get it in and all the bugs worked out.

Haha, why is that always the case? When I first did my 1HZ swap, I left the next day on a 1000 mile road trip. Of course, I've been "working out bugs" ever since, but that's just the nature of cruiser ownership...

You should be a full bottle on getting the aircon working this time
hah...you can see my new a/c compressor in the last pic. it's still in the box. this engine came with the tensioner bracket, so i've got an extra one of those now.
