You lucky SOB! You found that on CL?! Nice find

yeah he happened to be at the first Gold Country Cruisers meet and i recognized his rig from the CL ad.
he was up in Nevada City.

And here's one more pic. Now I need a light bar to go up top, or 4 HIDs.

yes i have them for sale on craigslist at the moment. pm me if your interested. ill give you a mud discount

nice rig:D

feel that block of wind yet on the freeway :p, mine drives me up the wall sometimes

so i wanted a roof rack that would accommodate my roof top[ tent rather than using the yakima load bars. so while cruising craigslist ( big surprise lol ) i found a mudder selling his custom made roof rack. its HEAVY duty and probably weighs a good 120lbs. its made from .091" tubing and 3/16' thick gutter mount tabs.

my RTT was slightly too long, so im going to cut and modify the rack later to fit to my liking. in the mean time i mounted my NATO cans up top and they are very secure and i plan on using them on an upcoming road trip.

POOPS!

I would have bought that, nice kind of sleek look to it...

Oh well, the old Con-Ferr from the FJ55 will have to do for a while longer.

thanks!!
yeah its noticeable for sure once the tent was placed on top.
its pretty loud, but after a couple weeks i've already tuned it out.
just like the hum of the mud terrains. its almost all one harmonious tune lol

yea i remember seeing that rack up in your garage. the old wood confer racks look great. and your old bumper is holding up well Nial.

Thats a great find, can't believe the deal you got on it!

I was surprised myself after seeing it first hand. It's very solid. Plus it's lower profile then the Yakima bars were. Which every inch makes a difference when it comes to overhead trees and brush.

I have the frontrunner rack, SOOOO im not sure what the noise was hahahaha...... once the light bar goes on under neath it may help or make it worse

hmm. i might look into doing something like that deflector.

yah anything to honestly help, make it with a quick release set-up so you dont need to worry about that ugly deflector while out wheeling :p

yeah. shes been a good girl. she needs some more love. maybe gears, sliders and a fridge to come in the future.

Took a nice road trip for my birthday weekend. Started out Saturday night after work and went to dillons beach to camp out for the night.
Hung out in bodega for the day Sunday before we headed down to Santa Cruz where we stayed in a hotel since none of the campgrounds are open. Drove a total of 450 miles or so and along the way Alana turned 300,000 miles. She's been a good girl and still runs like a champ!!!

yeah it would!
