First of all, this thing got slapped together fast because I am leaving town friday morning and I'll be gone for about a week. I won't be able to fix anything 'til then.
Observations:
Christo, no need to say I told you so. I bent the latch tonight test fitting everything.
Ordering 2000lb latch.
The tire is
way to far away from the body. (That I might fix before I go.) My mount behind the tire is going to be adjustable so it's just tacked in place now. It might also be too high.
I would feel bad running it on this trip w/o paint if I hadn't seen the 100 on the CM04 dvd that was also running unpainted front
and rear bumpers.
I still need to finish up my gussets everywhere and put the end caps on the front of the wings and cut the hole for the flush mount reciever and get that welded in.
The way I have it mounted to the frame now is real cheesey. It was just to get it roadworthy. I am confident in it taking an impact, but, it is not up for tug duty yet.
Should've had a more detailed plan before I started. May have saved some time.
It would be nice to have a mig and a plasma cutter.
It's been a kick in the pants, but, I need a week off.
